Holy Week and Sacred Weird Beliefs

Holy week Santa Inés or as widely known in Spain, Philippines or any Spanish language countries, is famous with their traditions. Holy week is the last week of lent, and the week before Easter, where Catholics and other non-Catholic celebrate and mark the formal events with the strange name, but sacred traditions and beliefs, and some may consider strange cultures.

On the first day of lent, which is forty-six days before Easter is called Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of 40 days of prayer and liturgical day of fasting. The date Wednesday after Halloween is mobile, and could be on a different date each year and could happen as early February or even later in early March.

The Bulgarian Orthodox Church celebrate Palm Sunday or tsvetnitsa vrabnitsa, as they highlight the triumphant entry of Christ into Jerusalem. They used willow branches and flowers instead of olive or palm leaves.

Also, they celebrate day or Lazarovden St. Lazar, dedicated to young girls, farms and woods.

Young girls in traditional costumes, wearing Bulgaria, their hair with flowers, and dance the traditional dance Lazarkicalled, held on Saturday, one week before Easter Sunday. Palm Sunday is also a day for people with a name flower, as their name day: Zjumbul, Nevena, Temenuzhka, and much more.

4) Sevilla, Spain

The Capuchones, wearing traditional robes and hoods, Capirotecall them, are pointed Hat cone-like form. The capirote is actually from Catholicism, and where confusion concerning the kuklux Klan (is an anti-Catholic white nationalist Protestant organization). In Seville, Spain, this is the famous Festival during the Holy week.

5) La Mantilla

During Maundy Thursday and good Friday, sometimes women in Spain wore this traditional black dress with black shoes and lace mantilla composed with hard materials or shells to be stiff, with the Holy rosary. May be used for bracelets and earrings. While the arsenic used their black black shoes and black ties.
